Second paper workshop

Today we were given a A1 sheet of thick paper, we cut it in half then proceeded to fold it lengthways.
We then were told to measure 1.5cm inwards to create a border, then to cut across within the border every 1cm from side to side.
In doing so it created a nice fanned effect that made the paper very springy and quite hard to fold.
I ended up deciding to wrap it around itself, creating  unique look that resembled either a shell or a wind chime.
I proceeded to take photo's of my finished design from various angles.

I particularly like these last two photographs for the way the light shines through the empty space making the design look more complex than it actually is.
